COMING SOON!! --- Online Training -- Look for the first lessons, instructional blocks, courses, and programs to be online -- hopefully in late 2004!!!!!

The online training programs are specifically designed to address Law Enforcement Risk Management (LERM) issues. The training will be easy to access, written for maximum understandability and usability, provide for comprehension verification (testing), and provide a certificate of competency upon satisfactory completion.

Some, but definitely not all, of the topics will include:

  1. Understanding the Constitutional Parameters of the Use of Force
  2. Understanding and Managing Pursuit Risks (including Road Blocks)
  3. Understanding and Managing the Risks of Sudden Unexpected Death
  4. Managing the Risks of Domestic Violence Restraining Orders
  5. The Use and Abuse of Pepper Spray
  6. The Use and Abuse of Restraint Devices
  7. The Judicious Use of Deadly Force
  8. Firearms Range Safety and Risk Management
  9. Understanding Law Enforcement Liability
  10. Managing the Risk of Jurisdictional Issues
  11. Managing the Risk of Mufti-Agency Task Forces
  12. And, many others ......

The training programs will be broken down into individual lessons, groups of lessons, blocks of related lessons, and large block programs.

In addition to LERM programs, there will also be programs for:
- Corrections Personnel
- Private Security Personnel
- Private Citizens - (including: self defense, defense of others, and more)

Many of the programs will also be offered in Spanish!!!
